The chef serves each roll one at a time directly to your spot, and you eat it instantly with your hands while the warm, perfectly seasoned rice contrasts against ultra-crisp nori and silky fish. From melt-in-your-mouth toro, spicy tuna, and sweet yellowtail to seasonal gems like fatty salmon belly and fresh wasabi, every single bite is pure bliss. This place is worth the hype! We got there about 20 minutes early on a Tuesday evening and quickly realized why. About 3 minutes to 5 a line started to form and about 3 minutes past 5 there were people waiting for seatings. So get there early if you want to make first seating! The fish was so fresh and each bite was delicious. We tried so many things - a lot was a recommendation from our waiter. I loved that it was a nicer dining experience yet quite laid back at the same time. A no frills kind of place. Our first to sashimi options were our favorite bites of the night!

This is such a modest humble place but it will surprise you maximum! We stopped by on Tuesday evening and it was full but we still were able to get seated. The fish is all imported from Japan and you can TASTE THAT. The salmon belly in truffle sauce was heavenly as well as the spicy yellowtail. Everything was great, we had a wonderful experience. We tend to forget that the simple things in life is what’s giving us joy, and this restaurant really stands for that statement. Highly recommend 🙂

After eating here, you’ll never look at sushi the same way again. Every visit is an opportunity to try a new fish or flavor, and the menu is always exciting. The quality and freshness are incredible, and the presentation is absolutely next level. I love, love, love this place! The only downside is that it has completely ruined every other sushi restaurant for me—nothing else even comes close. If you’re a sushi lover or just want an unforgettable dining experience, this place is a must.

We were one of the first to get there, about 20 minutes before the restaurant opened, and were so close to getting seated, but we missed it by one spot. We ended up waiting about an hour and a half, even though we noticed other people arriving after us and getting seated right away while we were still waiting. That felt pretty uncalled for, especially since other guests who arrived after us were seated first, and a few other couples agreed. That being said, the sushi was delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly. I just wish the seating process had been handled better.
